HALF OF THE UMMAH IS IN STRUGGLE,

AS THE OTHER HALF REMAINS IN SLUMBER…

There are currently 2 billion Muslims worldwide today.

40% of these are poor, and many are among the poorest of the poor in the world.

In fact, 1 in 5 Muslims are living in extreme poverty, cramped in makeshift dwellings and often surviving on one meal a day.

But just because we don’t feel the stress of poor ventilation, and the pain of their hunger, we seem to be sleeping on their struggles as if they simply don’t exist.

The Muslims of…

YEMEN – are starving!

60% of Yemen’s population — 17.4 million people — are uncertain about when they will have their next meal.

Out of these, 2.7 million are severely malnourished children, and 1.3 million are pregnant and breastfeeding women.

By far, Yemen remains the poorest and most food-insecure country in the MENA region.

PALESTINE — are starving!

For 51 years, our brothers and sisters in Palestine have been victims of injustice and oppression.

Since the events of October 7, 2023, Palestinians have been mass starved and killed horrifically.

For 15 long months, the entire population (whatever’s left of it) of Gaza survived off animal feed due to the complete blockade.

Sure, there may be a ceasefire in place now, but their struggles are far from over. With a collapsed economy, destroyed farmlands and factories, and no resources to rebuild, their survival depends solely on third-party aid.

Al-Shaam — are starving!

Al-Shaam is one of the top ten countries in the world with the most hungry people.

Today, there are 12.9 Al-Shaams trapped in merciless clutches of hunger… and 2.6 million more who are severely food insecure!

LEBANON — are starving!

Israel’s attacks on Lebanon have left its population at grave risk of hunger and malnutrition. Despite facing conflict and turmoil, Lebanon has generously provided refuge to 700,000 Al-Shaams.

Today, one-third of Lebanon’s population—including 2 million Lebanese and countless refugees—are battling food insecurity.

The Grumbling of Millions of Empty Stomachs

While we prepare for Ramadan and look forward to Iftar parties with hearty meals…

Collectively, there are millions of Muslims in Yemen, Al-Shaam, Lebanon, Africa, and Palestine who are starving.

Had they all got together in one place, which they will on the day of Qayamah, the grumbling of their empty stomachs would have been enough to shake the world.

On that day, they will testify that the Ummah took no action to help them, even when they could!

Imagine if…

For the whole of Ramadan, you had to fast on empty stomachs and have only half a date to break your fast with.

Would that not break your spirits? Would you have the energy to fast another day?

Would you not turn to Allah and complain about the Ummah that has abandoned you?

Then how can we let down our people in Yemen, Al-Shaam, Lebanon, Africa, and Palestine?

Feed The Fasting: The Power to Restore Their Hope & Livelihoods is Only A Click Away…

This Ramadan, Al Amal Charity aims to turn their hopelessness to happiness and helplessness to blissfulness.

Through our Feed The Fasting campaign, we aim to provide iftar meals to families in Yemen, Palestine, Al-Shaam, and Lebanon just before Ramadan to give them food security during the Holy Month.

For as little as $50 today, you can help us restore hope for a family of seven for the entire month of Ramadan, and give them a chance to share in our blessings and experience this sacred month like we do.

Is Donating Before Ramadan Really Going to Make a Difference?

Absolutely!

We say this because…

The iftar meals we provide can deliver hope, warmth, nutrition, and energy to vulnerable souls in these regions TWICE a day, for thirty days!

And that means, we:

➡️ Ensure food security throughout the month

➡️ Provide a chance for them to have a slightly normal Ramadan

➡️ Give them an opportunity to break out of the cycle of hunger and poverty

➡️ Alleviate the hunger of at-risk families

➡️ Contribute to the joy and spiritual fulfillment of their Ramadan

➡️ Bring them happiness and a sense of belonging on the blessed occasion of Eid.

Last Ramadan over 50,000 people bore witness to the difference we made through our efforts in Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine and Northern Al-Shaam.

➡️ We distributed food baskets, breakfast meals and cash from our generous donors.

➡️ In Lebanon we provided breakfast meals to orphans throughout the month of Ramadan.

Plus, donating right now means…

You Can Secure Your Akhirah For Just $7 Today!

Fasting has been made obligatory upon us so we can feel the hunger of the people who are forced to fast every day throughout the year.

This month is the month of giving, and also the month in which Allah SWT has blessed us with the unique opportunity to maximize our good deeds and earn divine rewards from Him.

Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani narrated,

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Whoever gives Iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”

And,

➡️ Whoever feeds a hungry person will have his sins forgiven and will earn a place in Paradise

➡️ Whoever does ONE good deed in Ramadan will be rewarded 70X for it, and as if the person has done the same good deed for 80 YEARS

By donating today, you will be beautifying your Akhirah, earning a place in Jannah, Following the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), and earning the closeness of Allah SWT.

Many of the righteous Muslims and early Islamic personalities like ‘Abd-Allah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), Dawood al-Taa’i, Maalik ibn Dinar and Ahmad ibn Hanbal. Ibn ‘Umar, who shaped Islamic history over the years, used to do the same. They often gave up their iftar for others and only broke their fast with orphans, the poor, and the needy.

Will you follow their footsteps and lend a helping hand to the vulnerable Muslims around the world this Ramadan?

What’s more important is that act NOW, because…

or all our efforts will be in vain.

We, the people blessed enough to not find ourselves stranded with poverty and hunger, are privileged enough to go grocery shopping for Ramadan stock-up whenever we want.

But these people rely SOLELY on Allah’s mercy and our aid for their survival…

This means we need to purchase necessary materials now for it to be shipped on time.
