Without Your Support, Thousands May Freeze to Death
Gaza’s 2.1 million people—nearly all repeatedly displaced—face a shattered landscape: 68,875 killed and 170,679 injured as of Nov 5; 81% of buildings damaged; only a fraction of hospitals partially operating; and Famine (IPC Phase 5) confirmed for hundreds of thousands. Acute child hunger is surging: in August 2025, 13.5% of screened children across Gaza were acutely malnourished (nearly 1 in 5 in Gaza City); the IPC projects at least 132,000 children under five will suffer acute malnutrition through June 2026—including over 41,000 severe cases
Children across Al Shaam are caught in a lethal mix of conflict, displacement and cold: out of 16.7 million people in need, roughly 7.5 million are children, and nearly 2 million of those face serious malnutrition risk. Acute malnutrition has tripled since 2019, with pockets of crisis in the north where over half a million under‑5s need urgent treatment. Meanwhile winter has arrived to destroyed homes, inadequate shelters and families with no heating, leaving millions vulnerable to the cold.
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Wealth does not diminish by giving Sadaqah (charity). Allah augments the honour of one who forgives; and one who serves another seeking the pleasure of Allah, Allah will exalt him in ranks.” [Muslim].
To date, Al-Amal International Charity has successfully organized 100+ campaigns, arranged 2000 activities, and dealt with 50 emergency cases in the following sectors:
🔹Health and psychosocial support
🔹Relief,
🔹Education,
🔹Food security,
🔹And rapid intervention during disasters
With the Free Bread Bundles for Palestine, Lebanon, Al Shaam and Yemen campaign, Al-Amal intends to distribute one million packages of bread for FREE to the poor Refugee and Palestinian families.
We aim to sponsor orphaned children and distribute life-saving winter supplies in Gaza and Al Shaam. Every donation goes directly to on-the-ground teams delivering aid. Key campaign elements include:
Orphan Sponsorship: Donors can sponsor a child who lost parents in the conflict. Each sponsorship provides regular support (food, school supplies, healthcare and shelter) to an orphaned child. This long-term care helps a child stay in school, eat nutritious meals and regain hope.
Winter Clothing & Blankets: We will send winter kits to families: warm jackets, hats, gloves, blankets and thermal clothing. UNICEF’s relief efforts have shown how these kits save lives – in one Al Shaam refugee camp, 2,000 children received full winter outfits when they had nowhere to shelter. Your gift of a blanket or coat directly protects a child from freezing temperatures.
Heating Fuel & Warm Meals: Providing heaters and fuel or fuel vouchers to keep families warm indoors. We also supply food baskets rich in staples (rice, flour, oil, beans, etc.) so parents can cook nourishing warm meals. In winter, warm food and a safe place to stay can mean the difference between life and death.
Emergency Shelter: Many displaced families lack insulation. We fund simple shelter repairs or tent insulation (tarps, plastics, insulation materials) so homes can hold heat. UNICEF prioritizes tents and winterization supplies to help children survive the cold months.
By targeting these needs, AL Amal turns donations into tangible hope. For example, UNICEF highlights that delivering “warm clothes, thermal blankets, school heating and cash assistance” is crucial to protect children in cold regions
Al Amal (meaning “hope” in Arabic) International Charity is a non‑profit founded by young volunteers in Lebanon. We work on the front lines of humanitarian aid, supporting victims of war with emergency relief and long-term assistance. Our projects include shelter improvements, medical aid and food delivery. For this campaign, our focus is Gaza and Al Shaam, – building on past successes like the “Feed 1 Million” bread campaign – to reach orphaned children and shattered families. As one appeal puts it, “turn your kindness for orphans into a brighter future” and help provide “urgent aid, education, and hope” to Gaza’s children
