URGENT Ramadan Appeal

Can you imagine being in their place ?

5 months of relentless bombing, indiscriminate killing, and an ongoing genocide.

More than 30,000 were killed – out of these 30,000 more than 13,000 are CHILDREN and 8,800 women.

More than 70,000 people have been injured.

It is exhausting to see all the news and pictures coming from Gaza. But we are miles away from the reality they are living through EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Can you imagine what it’s like for the people going through it? The news we see glimpses of, being there 24/7? Their life.

Ramadan is supposed to be a month of blessings but for the people of Gaza, it’s a month where they continue facing the horrors of oppression. They continue losing their loved ones. They continue seeing unimaginable atrocities.

They continue suffering.

Ongoing attacks have injured countless innocent civilians, but they have no medical aid to heal their wounds or to soothe their pain. Israel has even bombed hospitals and ambulances. The situation is so dire that doctors have to amputate body parts without anesthesia. Children have to bear the pain that adults can not even imagine having to endure.

Picture living under constant attacks day in and day out with no hope in sight.

There is no end to their suffering.

Those spared from the bullets die from starvation.

Gaza is facing one of the most SEVERE hunger crises the world has ever seen.

It poses a serious threat of MASS STARVATION. Israel has blocked off food and water.

The people in Gaza are living with NO food. NO water. NO electricity. NO medical aid. NO shelter.

It’s like they are being punished for being alive.

Gaza needs our IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. we CANNOT let this go on.

We CANNOT turn a blind eye to their suffering.

We CANNOT gather around our lavish iftar spreads with our families KNOWING our brothers and sisters in Palestine don’t even have a morsel to break their fast with.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

“The believers in their mutual mercy, love, and compassion are like a single body, when one limb is in pain the rest of the body joins in insomnia, fever, and restlessness’

Their pain is our pain and we NEED to do something about it.

Time is a luxury our brothers and sisters in Palestine CANNOT afford!!

As we speak the death toll continues to rise. People of Gaza succumb to injuries or hunger.

There is no time to waste.

Just like the pain is shared, so is the responsibility to provide relief.

We must respond to their plight.

Who Are We?

Al Amal International Charity Organization was an initiative by a group of young volunteers, working in the humanitarian field in Lebanon.

The group was inspired by communicating with German personalities of Refugee origin; hence the initiative became a legal reality.

Al Amal has been operating in Palestine since 2020.
